How to make your Bad Times Dance video
One photo is all you need to start. The studio handles the movement, so you do not have to film a dance or learn a timeline editor.
1. Pick a clear photo
Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP image smaller than 10 MB. A single person or pet works best. A clear face and visible body give the AI more information to work with. Use a photo you own or have permission to use.
2. Choose your direction
The classic recreates the cheeky stare-and-bounce mood. After hours adds a neon studio; Golden hour moves into warm sunset light; Retro rewind brings a camcorder feel; Out of office creates a workplace twist; Toon takeover reinterprets your subject as an original animated character.
Open Customize to write your own scene, choose a length from 4 to 15 seconds, and select 480p or 720p. Export in 9:16 for vertical posts, 1:1 for square posts, or 16:9 for a wide video. Include an original AI beat or choose a silent export.
3. Check the cost and generate
The exact credit cost appears before you create. 480p uses 1 credit per second; 720p uses 2. A 6-second 720p video costs 12 credits. Sign in with ChatGPT and buy a one-time credit pack through Stripe if needed. There is no free render, subscription or automatic renewal.
4. Save your video
The studio shows the actual task status. Your saved account retains the task if you close the page; come back to My videos to check it and download the MP4. Failed generations return their credits. AI interpretations vary and may not reproduce an exact dance, expression or likeness.
5. Add the sound when you post
The viral song is not included. Add a licensed sound using TikTok, Instagram or your editor. The optional audio in this studio is an original AI-generated beat. Platform music permissions may differ for personal and business accounts.
A few practical choices
- For a quick draft, choose a short 480p clip.
- For a phone feed, use vertical 9:16 at 720p.
- For a strong identity reference, avoid group photos and heavily covered faces.
- For a surprise setting, describe the place, light and mood in the scene field.
